Six college students head off to Fraser Island on a holiday / field trip. They are going there to get over their grief for a friend of theirs who was recently killed in a horrific car accident.
On the island, they discover an old man who saves souls and a photographer who creates human holograms.
Strange events begin to unfold as an unseen force begins to wreak revenge and starts killing the students one by one.
The solution to stop these gruesome killings seems to lie within the shipwreck of the Maheno , the holographic images of the photographer and the old man who saves souls.
