The Story:

Fame is an intriguing man-made phenomenon. A happy-go-lucky girl from Manchester decides to play the Fame Game at the Cannes Film Festival.

Her game of mistaken identity enables her victim to feel like a movie star for a fleeting moment and for a while the truth scatters about like mercury on a sheet of glass. But the fame game is never over.
